Palmarejo Sharks vs Plateau Warriors

The game that decides who goes to the championship game from the north side of the bracket will be a dog fight for sure. The Palmarejo Sharks will have another tough task ahead of them playing against the undefeated Plateau Warriors. These teams have a competitive history as the Sharks came the closest all season to giving the Warrirors their only loss of the season in a tight OT matchup. With both teams tested through trials and tribulations it will come down to pure will and role players showing up. The Sharks Big 3 of Joel Almeida, Malik Miller and Charles Boozer will be a handful for the Warriors to handle. While the Warriors on the other hand, Have MVP candidate Joshua “yo-yo” York-Frazer paired with dominant forward Andre “scoop” Jackson who have been on the same page the entire season. This matchup should be a defensive battle from tip off filled with highlight plays and huge memorable playoff moments. KT’s Cocky Selection is the Warriors continuing what they do best, playing team ball which will lift them above a tough Sharks team, 87-83.

Volcanico vs Panthers

The “Cinderella” story continues for the Achada Panthers as they are one game away from playing for the Praia League championship. They have just a couple obstacles left, one being the Achada Grande Volcanico. With a 5-2 season record the number two seeded Volcanico are thinking championship or bust this season. With two consecutive losses for the Volcanico the Panthers feel like this might be the right opportunity for them to sneak away with a win. The Panthers guard tandem of Nick Manor-Hall and Taras Carter, in order to win this game, have to have a break out game and near perfect shot selection not wasting any possessions. The Volcanico will be getting their big man Cameron Clark back after a one game suspension and will be paired back together with his dominant guard tandem of Nasir Core and Juwan Stepney. Both Core and Stepney have the ability to takeover a game at any point, in order for the Panthers to win they’ll have to contain the aggressive back court. KT’s Cocky Selection will be the “Cinderella” story ending earlier than the Panthers would like with the Volcanico coming away with a dominant win, 93-83.
