The countdown is on for the inaugural JSSN U19 International Series, with 18 of the brightest junior stars set to take the court in September against New Zealand’s youth national side and high-performance academies.

For the very first time, the Junior State Super Netball (JSSN) league has assembled a representative team, giving Australia’s next generation a taste of international competition and the pressure that comes with wearing a rep dress.

And leading the charge? The Grand Finalists of the 2025 JSSN GF.

Panthers and Bronteys Lead the Way with Four Selections Each
No clubs boast more representation in the JSSN U19 International Series squad than the Panthers and Bronteys, with both sides contributing four athletes apiece to the landmark tour.

For the Panthers, Chloe Dyglet, Ruby Parmenter, Lily Weston, and Amelia Antiss have all been rewarded for standout seasons in pink and black. Head coach Tracey Handcoft said the selections reflect not only individual excellence but also the strength of the Panthers’ development pathway.

“To see four Panthers selected is a huge testament to the hard work happening behind the scenes—from the players themselves, to our coaching staff and high-performance team,” Handcoft said.

The Bronteys will be just as proud, with Jada Watson, Sienna Housby, Kayla Cransburg, and Lucy Allen named in the travelling squad. All four have been consistent performers across the 2025 season, combining flair and grit to stamp their club’s reputation as a rising force.

For Dyglet, who recently claimed Panthers Player of the Season, the honour is one step closer to a lifelong dream.

“It’s such an honour. We’ve grown up watching the Diamonds—now we get to wear a rep dress ourselves. Getting to do that alongside so many teammates and rivals who push us every week? That’s what makes it even more special.”

A Squad of Stars
The final 18 reads like a who’s-who of emerging JSSN talent. Alongside the Panthers’ contingent are Bronteys’ Jada Watson, Sienna Housby, Kayla Cransburg, and Lucy Allen, while the Giants, Kings, Netties, Roos, Cubbies, Shooters, Whales, Suns, and Lionesses are all represented by at least one athlete.

Training begins August 12, with the Panthers’ home court hosting two of the pre-tour camps. Coaches are expected to focus heavily on squad cohesion, versatility, and adapting to the physical New Zealand style of play.

History in the Making
This series is more than just a test of skill—it’s about building pathways. Modeled on the Diamonds and Fast5 programs, the U19 International Series gives young athletes the experience of high-pressure tours, away crowds, and the grind of back-to-back fixtures.

With five matches scheduled across New Zealand, the campaign will be a crash course in resilience and opportunity.

Why It Matters
For fans, this tour is a chance to catch a first glimpse of names likely to dominate the professional scene in years to come. For the athletes, it’s a career milestone.

From Sienna Housby’s creativity in the circle, to Harper Vale’s composure at midcourt, and Chloe Dyglet’s consistency at both ends, the class of 2025 is already looking like one to remember.

Fans can follow the journey through live-streams, match reports, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content on the JSSN’s official platforms.

💙 Congratulations to all athletes named—your next chapter begins now.
