Miles Mac made the most of their first time in the Buckeye Bowl championship game! The tournament hosts were ready to go coming out strong and never really letting up in a 5-0 win over the Westwood Warriors. Miles Mac won all four of their games, shutting out their opponents in three of four.
In the 3rd place game, the Dakota Lancers were full marks for a 4-2 win over the defending champion Kelvin Clippers. An opening day loss to the Warriors was the only blemish on the weekend for Dakota who are a well deserving bronze award winner.
Sanford built an early lead and then hung on against the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints of Kenora, winning the consolation championship by a score of 3-2.
