# FORT MACLEOD REC HOCKEY LEAGUE **Rules & Regulations for 2024/2025 Season ** • Beer league rules apply • No hooking, slashing, tripping, slap shots, body checking, etc is permitted • All Hockey Canada rules apply • Each game will consist of three 20 minute periods - 5 minute break 1st intermission, ice flood during 2nd intermission • In the event that one team is dominating, trades may be made during the Christmas Break as per committee’s discretion. • This is a fun league. Please show respect for all players, referees, and rink attendants. • If a player on any team is being disrespectful, it’s the responsibility of the team captain to regain control of the situation/player. • Tie games will result in a shootout. Shootout order will be based on player ages from oldest to youngest. • Fighting of any kind is not permitted. Consequences will be at the discretion of the board and could result in expulsion from the league. • Captains are responsibly for informing their team membersof the game schedule • If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your captain or the board.
