Congratuations to the Stonewall Rams for winning the 3rd Buckeye Bowl!
The Rams ran the table with five straight wins, but they were hard fought, especially the final against WC Miller. It was the highest scoring team facing the best defensive squad and the game was as advertised. It was 1-1 deep into the third period when the Rams converted a two on one rush and Evan Deprez put it home for the winning goal with just 15 seconds remaining. It was only the 2nd goal surrendered by Aces' goaltender Darion Penner in three games.
It was an exciting finish to what was a closely contested tournament.
