The first ever Native Alaskan Basketball League All-Star Game is scheduled for January 21-23, 2021, in Anchorage, Alaska. The league's Board of Commissioners announced during a luncheon at the Hilton Hotel in Anchorage on Sunday.
The 3 day event will feature a Little Dribblers All-Star Game, which is a collective of some of Alaska's finest Little Dribblers from some of rural Alaska's Little Dribbler partnered communities. Also featured, will be the NABA three-point contest, slam dunk contest, and the NABA All-Star Game on Sunday at the Sullivan Arena.
By unanimous vote of the Board of Commissioners, League General Managers, and fans, the ensuing annual all-star weekend event will be on a rotating schedule based on an awardee lottery system, and limited shuffle involving the major hub areas within the NABA- Anchorage, Barrow, Kotzebue, and Nome. A reconsideration of the venues hosting in the future will be voted on after the 4-year cycle has expired.
