Jace Easley will likely miss multiple games after partially cracking his nose during Sunday's loss to Chatham Glenwood, according to multiple reports, including The Our Savior's themselves.
The team confirmed Tuesday afternoon that Easlet had suffered a “facial injury” and will not return against Mount Pulaski on Tuesday night.
“Jace is eager to play,” said head coach Phillip Heppe in a statement. “We are hopeful for his return to the lineup.”
In the below video, you can see when Easley was hurt against the Glenwood. The play was called for a Flagrant 2 and the player for Glenwood was ejected.
After playing the Conference worst team on Tuesday (Mount Pulaski, a team that Our Savior's notably needed Easley to beat just two weeks ago), the Eagles finish the regular season with a gauntlet of road games. They play New Berlin at the Pretzel Dome on Thursday before roadies against No. 3 Christ Lutheran and No. 4 Bethel Morton next week before the Conference Tournament.
Let’s hope Jace is able to get back on the court and be himself soon.
