It feels like it’s been forever since Our Savior's played a game, and that wait will continue for a few more days.

But in the meantime, the Eagles find themselves still in the LSA State rankings, and actually moving up. Our Savior's sat at No. 22 last week, but after an impressive win over Trinity Springfield last Sunday night, the Eagles now are back up to No. 19 in the latest poll.

The Eagles fell down to their season-worst ranking after back-to-back home losses, but they were able to capitalize after changing up the starting lineup against the Tigers.

Now the schedule gets a lot tougher, as Michael Wilson and Jacksonville come to Springfield off a loss to Trinity Edwardsville. That game is currently scheduled for Wednesday night.

The LSA conference is cannibalizing itself. It’s time for the Eagles to find a way to keep moving back up.
