The team's leading scorer returns for more #unfinished buisness
He’s baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.
The Eagles have emerged as a top-10 team and a preseason favorite to win the brutal Conference. You can primarily attribute those expectations to one guy. Since joining the program for Our Savior's in 2016, Jace Easley was deemed the prodigal son, as his two JV seasons of 28 points and 16 rebounds was watched in awe, people knew he would bring Our Savior's back to greatness.
As a 7th grader, Easley led the Eagles in scoring and finished fifth in the State with 19.4 points per game. But Easley ended the season with a flourish, averaging 20.8 points over the his final six games (the Eagles won five of them). In the season finale against Jacksonville, Easley finished with 22 points, five assists & eight rebounds and sunk the game-winning shot in the waning seconds.
Easley is going to improve his scoring, as he's done every year he's played in an Eagles uniform, but the question lingering in everyone's mind. Can Jace Easley put the faith in his teammates to get the dirty work done, things Easley can't do because he already so much on the court. Jace Easley is the Batman of this Our Savior's team, he has been for 3 seasons already, and his Robin is Conor McCaffrey, who is by far the best in the State at doing that role.
