MANSFIELD, Ohio - The 7th Grade Mid Ohio Magic basketball team competed in the AAU 13th Annual Marion Basketball Challenge recently and wound up as the 7th Grade Champion.
Earlier in April, the team competed in the 18th Annual Newark Wildcat Classic where they took Runner-Up in the 7th Grade Division.
Members of the team include Isaiah Alsip (Galion), Kaydyn Berry (Lexington), Dylan Christman (Lexington), Jonah Ramey (St. Peters), Tyler Tackett (Madison), Dylan Spears (Clear Fork), Darian Miller (Shelby), Brycen Burkhalter (Shelby), and Blake Miller (Northmor).
They are coached by Jason Rice and assisted by Mickey Spears. The Magic will compete this weekend in the 13th Annual Tyger Basketball Challenge where they will play at 9 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. at Lexington High School Auxiliary Gym.
