Welcome to the MY-ICD 2018 Basketball League. A brief description about MY-ICD (Muslim Youth of the Islamic Center of Detroit) :

The Muslim Youth of the Islamic Center of Detroit (MY-ICD) is comprised of a group of about 30 individuals all ranging from the age of 14 to college-bound students. The organization is divided into multiple subcommittees to efficiently execute and advertise events and projects. Committed youth from the surrounding community were sought out and asked to commit as volunteers under MY-ICD to aid young Muslims in immersing themselves to continuous and engaging spiritual, recreational, developmental, and impactful service and activism programs.

This league is organized by the MY-ICD Sports subcommittee, which is responsible for offering and organizing for the youth of the ICD and the community a method of releasing all the built up energy they have along with building an environment that allows them to increase their brotherhood for the sake of Allah, through the means of sports and athletic activities. The MY-ICD Basketball League aims toward bringing together individuals in the community, both from the ICD and from other communities, and offer them an opportunity to engage in a competitive and official basketball league.
