Important Information
All teams must have jerseys with numbers
No Dunking: Dunking is not allowed before, during or after games. If a player grabs the rim during gameplay, they will be assessed a technical foul. The opposing team receives 2 points and possession on any technical. If a player grabs the rim before or after the game, they will receive one warning. If a player receives 2 warnings/technicals for dunking/grabbing the rim, they will be suspended for 1 game. If they receive another technical for dunking/grabbing the rim at any other point during the season, they will be suspended for the rest of the season.
Zero Tolerance: Officials will not tolerate inappropriate behavior directed at fans, refs, staff or players. Anyone that is assessed 2 technical fouls for unsportsmanlike conduct in the same game will be suspended for the rest of the season. Any player that receives 3 total unsportsmanlike technical fouls during the course of the season will also be suspended for the rest of the season. Technical fouls will ONLY be rescinded at the discretion of the officials.
Rosters
You will need to email me a list of names for the players who will be on your team by Friday, July 1st.
Every team will be allotted 12 player cards. Each player will receive a player card with their name on it. That player card must be given to the scorekeeper prior to each game as your way to "check in." If a player forgets to bring their player card, then they must present a form of identification that the scorekeeper can cross reference with your team roster. If your team has 12 players on the roster, you will only be allowed to use those 12 players during the season. If your team has, for example, 8 players on the roster, you will have 4 extra player cards that can be used for subs during the season. If you do use a sub for a game, then you lose that extra player card for the rest of the season. You would be able to essentially use 4 subs throughout the year if your team roster has 8 players. If the same person were to sub on your team for 2 different weeks, then you would have to use a new player card each week since that player is not on your team roster.
