Welcome to the 2022 Spring Softball Season! We have 5 teams registered this spring for the 10 week season. To avoid multiple bye weeks during the year, I created a unique schedule that includes a two week Seeding Tournament followed by a 3 week End of Season Tournament. With these new schedule additions, you will see some teams may be required to play back to back games on a night. More information on that is below and available on this league website.
Regular Season
The regular season will last 5 weeks with each team having one bye week and playing each other once. The final standings from the 5 week regular season will be used for the mini seeding tournament that will take place during weeks 6 and 7. Tie breaker used for seeding will be head to head matchup.
Seeding Tournament
This will take place during weeks 6 and 7 of the season. I know the bracket can look a little confusing, but I will be sending updated nightly schedules as we progress to this tournament. The purpose of the seeding tournament is to determine what seed each team will get in the end of season tournament. Teams who finish the regular season in 1st, 2nd or 3rd have a chance at the #1 seed in the end of season tournament. Teams who finish 4th and 5th have a chance to win the #2 seed in the end of season tournament.
End of Season Tournament
The end of season tournament will occur during weeks 8, 9 and 10. It will be a double elimination tournament. Again, I will send weekly update emails with each night’s game schedules since the bracket can be hard to follow.
