The other series that got to take the court was between the Tropics and the Big Baller Brand. Heading into the night, the Big Baller Brand was facing elmination down 3-1 in the series. This didn't stop them from putting up a fight. Leif Triller decided it was time to do some recruiting due to John Pirce being out of town and the lack of success of the team. One of Triller's surprise players scored 41 in the first game, with nobody else on the team scoring in double digits. The Tropics didn't lay down though. Tim Freeman scored 16 points, and Darren Rita ended with 44 points. The top heavy scoring wasn't enough for the Tropics as they fell 83-75 and were forced to play a game six. The next matchup was another competitive game. The surprise playes combined for 41 points with one scoring 27 points and the other scoring 14 points. This time they got help from Kyle Gendron as he added 17 points. The strong showing from them wasn't enough to stop the Tropics big three from combining for 76 points on the game, with Josh Schattner scoring 18 points, Darren Rita scoring 25, and Tim Freeman scoring 33. The star power of the Tropics was too overwhelming and they ended Big Baller Brand's season with an 82-70 win, ending the series and 4-2.
