Summer 8u Kid Pitch Rules
Pitch count: 45 per game and 90 per week
Pitching distance – 40 Feet (optional 46)
6 runs max per inning for every inning
No leading. Runners can advance to 2nd and 3rd after the ball crosses the plate. 3B is locked
1:45 time limit
One umpire for regular season. Two umpires for post season.
No dropped 3rd strike.
No bunting with a runner on 3B
No intentional walks
Mercy rule: when a team mathematically cannot catch up (ex. 13 after 4 and 7 after 5)
Speed up for pitcher and catcher
