The week of September 17th to 24th brought significant shifts in the standings, particularly at the top, where Athletico extended their winning streak to three games, consolidating their place as the league leaders with an impressive record of 8-2. Their consistent performance has allowed them to maintain a commanding position over R & A Law, who suffered a defeat to Wallside Windows and saw their own winning streak end at one game. Wallside Windows are trending upward as well, now with two straight wins, which has pushed them to a competitive 6-5 record. Meanwhile, New Era Landscaping continues to struggle, recording their third consecutive loss against Muscle Milk, which has momentarily halted their own lengthy losing streak at two games. The results from this week highlight the contrasting trajectories of these teams, with Athletico and Wallside Windows on the rise while R & A Law and New Era Landscaping face newfound challenges.

Muscle Milk 53, New Era Landscaping 52

In a tightly contested matchup, Muscle Milk edged out New Era Landscaping by a single point, finalizing the game at 53-52. Bennie showcased an outstanding performance, contributing 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists, cementing his role as a key player for Muscle Milk. Tristan Pritchett also made an impact with a strong defensive presence, collecting 4 steals and adding 13 points, while Nicolas Monarrez matched him with 13 points and helped on the boards with 7 rebounds. For New Era Landscaping, Dante Getaw Jr led with 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists, providing substantial support. Amejon Dotstry delivered a noteworthy double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, marking a personal best in rebounds, and Darius Freeman contributed effectively with 12 points and 4 assists. The match extended New Era Landscaping's losing streak to three games, while Muscle Milk improved their record to 2-9, leveling the all-time series against New Era Landscaping at 2-2.

Wallside Windows 75, R & A Law 69

In a tightly contested matchup, Wallside Windows edged out R & A Law 75 to 69, marking a significant win that improved their regular season record to 6-5. This victory ended R & A Law's strong start to the season, where they held an 8-3 record following their two previous meetings this season, both of which were decisive wins for R & A Law. Dylan Bressler showcased a standout performance with an impressive 45 points, setting a new personal record with 11 three-pointers. His extraordinary shooting was complemented by Damani Hicks, who achieved a double-double with 7 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists, showcasing his all-around contribution well above his regular season averages. On the other side, Marcus Jones led R & A Law with 19 points and 9 rebounds, and Ryan Williams added a double-double of his own with 16 points and 12 rebounds, marking personal bests for both. Despite R & A Law's efforts, including Kelly Brown's season-high 4 assists, they fell short in this match, highlighting Wallside Windows’ resilience and ability to execute under pressure.

Athletico 73, Muscle Milk 63

In a tense playoff matchup, Athletico outlasted Muscle Milk with a 10-point victory, extending their all-time series lead to 3-0. The game revolved around key contributions from both sides, but it was Timothy Brown Jr. who shone for Athletico, scoring 19 points and grabbing 9 rebounds, supported by CJ Towns' impressive all-around effort of 16 points, 7 rebounds, and a personal best of 4 steals. On Muscle Milk's side, Tristan Pritchett delivered a standout performance with 27 points, including a personal best of 7 three-pointers, while Nicolas Monarrez made his mark with a solid double-double of 8 points and 12 rebounds, also dishing out 5 assists. Notably, Zachary Kita elevated his game with a personal best of 8 points, alongside 5 assists and 2 steals, clearly surpassing his regular season averages. The match showcased a blend of resilience and explosive performances, setting a competitive tone for the rest of the playoffs.
