This week in Draft Basketball at The Hawk brought some compelling matchups in the regular season, with three games played that highlighted both the strengths and challenges facing the teams in the league. Athletico continues to assert its dominance, while Wallside Windows finds itself navigating tough waters.

The first game saw Athletico square off against Wallside Windows, resulting in a significant 79-52 victory for Athletico. CJ Towns shone brightly for Athletico, scoring 24 points and delivering a strong offensive performance, while Timothy Brown Jr. supported with 19 points and an efficient shooting display. For Wallside Windows, Damani Hicks contributed notably with 17 points and six assists, but it wasn't enough to overcome Athletico's consistent scoring and defensive pressure.

The week concluded with a nail-biting encounter between Muscle Milk and New Era Landscaping. In a tightly contested game, New Era prevailed with a narrow 61-60 victory. Amejon Dotstry was instrumental for New Era, leading with 17 points and nine rebounds, while Dante Getaw Jr. added 18 points. On the Muscle Milk side, Jordan Littleson had a standout game with 25 points, emphasizing his scoring ability, but they couldn't pull off the win in this close affair.

After this week's action, Athletico and R & A Law are both tied at the top of the standings, each with seven wins and two losses, setting the stage for an interesting race as the season progresses. Wallside Windows must regroup quickly to improve on their recent form, while New Era and Muscle Milk both showed competitive spirit that could make their future games particularly engaging.
