When the Steelers selected quarterback Alex Tinebra with the 140th overall pick in the 2020 SFL Draft, there was some heated debate to whether he would be the face of the franchise.
First, the good news on the Steelers for doing the smartest thing in football: finding the quarterback in the draft that you want to hitch your wagon to for the years to come. The bad news? Well, Alex Tinebra had a very shitty week 1 perfomance against the Bills at home throwing for 5 picks and the loss. Will he redeem himself or shit the bed again?
The Bills should feel confident that they can hold that offense down. This one doesn’t feel like it’s going to be particularly close. This team has been defending circles around the Steelers, with a 1-0 record from the 77-49 win last week. It doesn’t hurt that the Steelers plan to slow down the Bills offense is to force them to play crappy football.
It seems like the experts are take the Bills in a decisive win. I expect a big game defensive line, namely Dante Avolio. There should be some explosive moments from Giuliano Serafino and Aleks Zivkovic. Also, look for Dante Avolio to be throwing dimes.
Despite some controversial moments from week one, this week coming up sure seems to be very exciting. Can the Steelers redeem themselves? We will find out.
