In a thrilling week 5 of Season 3 of PVBA, Bourque’s Bears devoured Vidito’s Vultures in a barnburner of a match. Parker “Splash Mountain” Roche had a healthy double double, while captain Joshie B flexed his “Spa Total Fitness Muscles™️” in the paint.

For the Vultures, Carrot Cake had perhaps his most electrifying performance of his PVBA career, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough.

In the second game, Jeff’s Jokers extracted revenge on Jesse’s Jackhammers for their only loss this season. Olex “Is He Really British?” Sokolenko had 15 points, while the Young Wolf, Nate Whitnell dropped an efficient 12 piece.

The Jackhammers dug unto concrete and it wouldn’t budge, as their 3-game win streak was halted. Yahtzee Sefau had 15 points in the loss.

Next week, it’ll be a fight or flight battle, as the Jackhammers go up against the Vultures, in a small ball battle. Barnett! Rashed! What a contest.

Big bodies collide in the second match: Bears v Jokers. Roche, Bourque and JonnyMac vs Olex, Vos & Whitnell. Looks like Godzilla vs King Kong has come to Cornwall.

*NOTE: next weeks games are on Sunday afternoon, due to the Cornwall district elections (or as I like to call it: the least important thing in the world).
