Basketball Rules

2022

Game Day:
Fridays starting at 7 PM (3 Games per day).
Saturdays at 1 PM (3 Games per day).
Sunday at 6 PM (3 Games per day).
There will be days that we will have more than the 3 scheduled games for the day. always check the WEBSITE for any changes. (any games added to the website will be with a least two weeks notice).
There will be games that will need to be rescheduled for circumstances out of our hands (Covid, Ect).
If a game is changed, all games will be scheduled during the same scheduled time.
All games that need to be rescheduled will be done with at least two week in advance.
We might also add Mondays to the scheduled (2 Games per day).
Make sure to check the address of every game weekly.
Game
No Jewelry, No durags
There is a game fee of $13 per player on the roster.
Example
(12 players= $156, 11 players= $ 143 and on).
Game Time:
Game will start 10 minutes after the scheduled time.

Team must have Five (5) players to start a game.
If a team has less than 5 players, the clock will start and two (2) points will be awarded for every minute that the team is not ready. If the team is not ready by the end of the first (1) quarter, it will qualify as a Forfeit.
The team that loses by forfeit will still need to pay for the game.
A Player will foul out of the game on their six (6) personal fouls.
Game Rules:
Twelve (12) minute running time per quarter for the First, Second and Third quarters – last fifteen (15) seconds are stop time.
Fourth quarter (12) minutes running time – last two (2) minutes stop time.
Shooting in the bonus per quarter on the six (6) team foul – two shots.

Technical fouls are one shot and will cost the player $50.00 per Technical. (player will be sub-out and Fees must be paid before they can go back to the game or player will not be allowed to play).
Example: 2 Technical* $50 = $100 (Fees must be paid before the start of the following game or the player will not be allowed to play).
Time-outs:
Two (2) timeouts in the first half @ 24 seconds each.
Three (3) timeouts in the Second half @ 24 seconds each.
Over-time:
Three (3) minutes and stop time in the last (1) minute.
Shooting fouls on the second (2) foul.

Playoffs Seeding Matchups (1 Vs 8, 2 VS 7, 3 Vs 6 and 4 VS 5)
Roster Changes:
Last day to make any changes to the roster will be Sunday, April 10, 2022 @ 11:59 PM. A MAXIMUM of two (2) players per team can be changed.
The new players will become active on Friday, April 15, 2022.
All-Star Game
To be eligible to play in the all-Star game the player must have played in the first 5 games of the season. (The stat of the first 5 games of the season will be the stat use to select the players).
The best 30 players will be selected for a voting contest. voting will take place on social media (Instagram) on the best 20 players to play in the game.
The directive will pick the 4 team captains
Uniform - The name of the two captains with the most votes on Instagram will have their name on the All-Star Jersey.
3-Point Contest
The eight (8) players with the most made 3’s in the first 5 games of the season will be the players competing (Format to be determined).
Dunk Contest
Anyone can sign up but only 5 participants will be allowed (Format to be determined).
Playoff:
The eight (8) teams with the best record will qualify for the Playoffs
If there is a tie between two (2) teams we will go head to head matchups. (The WEBSITE doesn’t consider head to head matchups, that will be determined by the directive).
If there is a tie between 3 or more teams we will go with total points for the tournament.
Player
Each player must play a minimum of 5 games to be eligible to play in the playoffs.
