Core Values for PMEYBA
* Safety – We strive to provide a safe environment physically, socially, and mentally for the athletes to grow as players and as young members of the community.
* Sportsmanship – We aim to compete to ensure that the best possible basketball is being played at all times. Everyone should give their best efforts according to their abilities and also prioritize respect for teammates and opponents before, during and after the games.
* Skills building – We intend to teach the game of basketball as a set of skills that combine to create a complete game. Each player and coach should strive to improve skills continually.
* Teamwork – We will focus on playing the game of basketball as a team. This can be accomplished not just on the court but simply with the right attitude in our organization.
We look to provide a conmprehensive opportunity for the youth of Pocono Mountain East to become great athletes teammates and competitors and to support the athletic program with strong school spirit.
