League Rules
• Each player playing in the league will be required to wear a matching team uniform and same color, with number on the back. Uniform should be a reversible jersey or unique tshirt color to prevent both teams from wearing the same color. There are far too many playing without matching jerseys and numbers on the back in previous season. This makes it a headache for the refs, bookkeeper, and doing write ups as well as makes the league look unprofessional.
• All team Captains must write their team roster and uniform numbers in the book before each game. Or check the existing roster to edit or add any new players to confirm evwrything is correct.
• All technical fouls will be assessed a $20 fine to be paid prior to the next game or that player will not be allowed to play.
• Two technical fouls in one game will result in expulsion from that game and the next scheduled game.
• No physical contact with any league official will be tolerated, that player will be expelled from further league play. This also includes any threats or verbal abuse towards officials.
• If the difference between two teams is 20 points or more with 2 minutes left to play in the game that game will be declared over. 30 points with 3 minutes to play
• If a team has only 5 players and a player fouls out that player can still play but every time that player makes a foul after his 5th foul it will be a technical. 2 shots and the ball.
• Two forfeits in the season, in which no eligible players were added and the result was either an unplayed forfeit game or a forfeit but played game with ineligible players, will result in being playoff ineligible, with no refund.
• Must start the game with 5 eligible players. Can continue to add eligible players to the roster until game 5. After game 5, no new players can be added to the roster. (In an 8 game season) Adding new ineligible players in order to play the game, will still result in a forfeit even though the game could still be played.
• Must be 18+ years of age, and out of Highschool to compete in the men’s/women's divisions of the league. Unless otherwise stated by having Highschool teams in the league.
• If a player is a senior in their 5th year of highschool, such as a result of transferring and reclassing for prep school. But their original graduating class would have graduated, and they are 18 years of age, the player can be permitted to play with board approval.
• If a player has graduated from HS and is 18 years of age, but then decides to go for a post grad year of highschool/prep school. The player can be permitted to play with board approval.
• If a player has graduated HS but they are only 17 years of age at time of graduation and is either done HS or decides to go for a 5th year post grad year. The player can be permitted to play with league board approval.
• If a playoff eligible team can not make the required game day and must forfeit a playoff game, and knows in advance, the next highest seed will be awarded a playoff spot.
• If a team must forfeit a championship game due to lack of players, both teams can agree on a different day/time and the game can be moved and still played. If the other team does not agree, the result will be a forfeit for the team that can’t make it, and the other team wins.
• Once you play for a team, you are no longer eligible to join another team in the same Division.
• B-Division players may also play in the A-Division if they desire. But to keep fairness in the B-Division, A-Division players may not come down to the B-Division. Anyone can be an A-Div. player. Qualifying to be a B-Div. player, it is up to the discretion of the league and the board. Eligibility of players playing in the B division will be looked at after each season, and players could be asked to move up divisions.
In case of a tie in standings, Ties for seeding will be broken in the following manner:
Overall record
Head-to-Head matchup
Point differential
Points allowed - fewest
