Derrick Jordan scored 31 in the Bricks rout of the Melonheads on Sunday Night. Jordan Made a game high 6 threes as the Bricks shot 45% as a team from behind the arc. The Melonheads who struggled to find good shots the whole night shot just 37% from the field thanks to the Bricks stiffling defense all game. Jacobi Gordon was the leading scorer for the Melonheads with 23 but only shot 36% and had some questionable shot selections throughout the game.
The Bricks win their first game of the season easily and willt take on the Rim Rattlers at home in their next game. As for the Melonheads they will travel on the road to face the Hog Doggers on Monday night.
