Mamba Elite is based on the legend that is Kobe Bryant. His tenacity, work ethic, talent and legendary status have made him a mentor to millions of people around the world. Mamba Mentality is synonomous with hard work and a never quit attitude. Kobe 'Bean' Bryant, the Black Mamba, was an inspiration to Gurbir Grewal and thus, it was only right to name the league after him. Gurbir Singh wanted to honor the late Laker great and wanted to give back to his community and was able to do both through the birth of Mamba Elite, a community basketball league. A way for our community to come together and enjoy basketball. If you are in this league, you are looked on to show a level of commitment to community involvment and communal respect.
