Kamel vs Team Mike (Winner: Team Mike)

This game pitted 2 of the top captains in Kamal and Mike vs one another. Both these teams have been headed in opposite directions with team Mike being one of the hottest teams in the league and team Kamal losing 5 games in a row. Vegas had team Mike’s team favored to win by 7 but they did not take into account team captain Kamal Eljahmi take over ability in that analysis.

Team Mike controlled and led most of this game until later in the 2nd half. At this point, Kam realized he just needed to get the job done and took over. At one point scoring 11 in a row I believe. Kamal led the game with an impressive 39 pts and Mike continued his impressive play with 31 pts for his team. Oas Yaffai continued his impressive play scoring 15 pts as hes done a great job helping carry his team all season.

Looking forward:

Many are interested to see did team Kamal turn the corner and is this the new expected play we will get the rest of the season from them? Or was this win a fluke?

For team Mike, I think this loss was a one off as they still scored an impressive 70 pts. The addition of former captain Hamadah continues to pay dividends and cause issues for opposing defenses and thus freeing up everyone else on the team. In my opinion, they are definitely a very formable threat to win it all.

Team Manea vs Team Joe (Team Manea)

Romeo, Romeo, where art though Romeo is what Shakespare once wrote. Well, I think team captain Joe is thinking the same thing. Since Romeo was traded to Manea, Manea was won both games and the team looks to have a newly discovered level of energy and confidence.

Also, heeding to the league Analysist advice, they finally decided to get the ball to super star Ali Tony and he has delivered. Tea Manea led basically the whole game getting to the rim at ease while hitting 3 pt shot after 3 pt shot. Romeo continued his tough nose defense harassing and causing issues for the opposing team all game long. His energy almost seems contagious.

Ali Tony dropped 38 pts followed by team captain Manea with 32. This team is a major threat in my opinion if they keep playing like this after trading for defensive specialist Romeo.

Mean while team captiain Joe Bazzi finished the night with 30 pts.

Team Bosh vs Team Hussein (Winner Team Bosh)

This was a game that was filled with rivalries pitting the top 2 team against each other, the top 2 mvp candidates (Bosh vs Huss), brothers against each other (Omar vs Mo…..) and the gym was antsy waiting for this game. The game started with team bosh displaying an array of offensive skill. However, shortly in the game team captain Hussain Baidani was forced to exit. Although team Hussein did their best to make up for it, its simply very difficult to replace a captain.

Season stand out Unc Ed continued his impressive play hitting big bucket after big bucket and it was very entertaining watching brother Mo and Omar go at it. Mo Elhaj had a break out game on both sides of the ball netting many steals and highly efficient points.

Bosh led his team with 26 pts followed by Mo Elhaj with 18 pts. Mo led his team with 21 pts.

Team Monawar Vs Team Larry

Team Monawar coming off of 2 tough losses looked to be trending down. They were able to turn it around with some elite down low play from their big men. Monawar led his team with amazing efficiency going 9 for 11 from the floor and scoring 24 pts. Larry led his team with 18 pts followed by Mo suffi with 18 pts.

Please note, these rankings are my personal opinion and not just based on what the stat chart shows. I tried to consider situations such as playing time, positions played on the court, and opportunities. Thanks.
