RECAP and Player Rankings

Game 1

Team Manea vs Team Kamal (Winner team Kamal 72-56)

After coming off a decisive victory last week, this week was a harsh reality check for Team Manea vs Team Kamal. Elite play from the former mvp Kamal had his team take control of the game early and they did not let up. They did it in transition, in the half court set, in the lane and from the 3. They displayed an arsenal of offensive moves. Kamal seemed to get to the bucket almost at will during the game and looked to display that he wants to retain his mvp status. Kamal led his team with 22 pts follow by his brother and 3rd round steal bilal scoring 20 pts.

At various times in the game, team manea managed to trim the led to a manageable amount, only to see it extend once more. Nader scored early, but did not get the ball much after his early points which seemed to cause the whole offense to stagnate.

It even led to some bickering between 2 of their elite players as pandemonium almost ensued when Ali Tony and Nader Elite argued after Ali Tony refused to accept his place on the team Hierarchy behind team captains Mane3 and Nader. Nader is currently still distressed and Nader vast array of fans, better known as Nader Nation who generally fill the stands from access to Roman Village are extremely upset.

Definenly an elite offense is team Manea, but the defensive definitely has some work to do. Rumors are that trade demands may already be made.

Game 2

Team Monawar vs Team Hussein ( Winner Team Monawar 55 -54)

This game was thought to be the game of the night and it lived to the hype. It pitted 2 of the top gaurds in Hussein vs monanawar against one another. This game saw an unsung hero shine with Kanaf owning the paint whenever he was in the game scoring many critical buckets. This was a defensive game through in and through out and went down to the last shot with team monawar pulling out the victory late. Team Hussein had a chance to win the game at the end but came up slightly short ultimately losing by 1 pt.

Team Monawar shared the ball on offense with their highest scorer only scoring 12. The 2 headed monster in Hussein and Mo scored a respective 20 and 15 pts.

Game 3: Team Bosh vs Team Mike (Winner Team Bosh 68-62)

This game displayed the continioud fine play of team bosh as the ball movement displayed almost seems unprecedented in this league. Some are calling Omar and Bosh the new Ying and Yang as they are connecting better than any other 2 players in the league. The game was competitive and both teams saw themselves lose leads at different times in the game. Bosh lead his team with an efficient 34 pts while grabbing 15 rebounds. Omar chipped in hitting 4 three point shots and dishing out 11 dimes.

Mike Williams, an extremely difficult cover scored a very efficient 19 points while oas also chipped in for 16 points.

Farris also continues to out play his draft status looking like a mix of Markus smart with his defense and Rip Hamilton with his offense.

Game 4: Team Jo vs Team Hamadah

In full disclosure, I did not watch this game. However, based on the score, it looks like a bad beat. Team Joe coming off a tough loss last week welcomed 35 plus league champion/mvp back to the line up and it seems it made a huge difference.

Team Hamadah which looks to be in disarray was handed their 2nd loss. Hamadah one of the most elite offensive players to ever come out of the south end scored 16 ponts while being keyed on defense but did not get much help from his teamattes. Currently, sources are telling us that many of Hamadah’s teamattes are very unhappy and some have already asked for trades. Others, have changed their work shift to the afternoon shift on Mondays to avoid showing up to the games. Either way, we urge team hamadah to do what he can to right this ship.

Please note, these rankings are my personal opinion and not just based on what the stat chart shows. I tried to consider situations such as playing time, positions played on the court, and opportunities. Thanks.
