King of the Court Basketball League

King of the Court Basketball League has been featuring some of the best players in Nanaimo since 2009. Players range from High School to University graduates. We love to compete not only for the love of the game, but also impart the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, and loyalty.
King of the Court Basketball League is an organized adult men's basketball league.

We know what you really wanna know about the upcoming season and that’s why we’ve compiled a list of all the frequently questions we usually get asked regarding our League rules and game schedule. What rules do we follow?
We follow the FIFA Rules but slightly modified. So this means we have:
10 minute quarters
24 seconds shot clock only applied to the last 2 minutes of the game
must cross the half court line by 8 seconds
2 time outs per half
3 minute Overtime with an additional 1 time out

Can we add a player to our roster during the season?
The deadline to add a player to your roster is January 15th and the player must wait until his jersey order arrives.
You can add player for the purpose of replacing an injured player and is out for the season.
Also, if adding a player, they must play one regular season game before playing in the playoffs.

All players MUST wear their full uniform to play their game. If you arrive in the gym without your uniform top and shorts then you will not be permitted to enter the game.
