...and the winner for last undefeated team remaining is...HEAVY GLAZE!
Heavy Glaze (4-0) sits atop the league standings with the only remaining perfect record this season after a very hard fought battle last week against Team HAM . If you didn't see how the game ended, head on over to our Instagram @JDLAthletics for the controversial "shooting" foul call from the ending of last weeks thriller.
Team LeBron James got out of the basement finally getting themselves in the win column beating Ball Busters 74-59. Ball Busters seemed to have no answers for LBJ's Jeriah Williams who scored 30 in the contest.
No Diddy, Blessed to Ball, and Blazers (0-4) all remain winless but that will change after this week as Blessed to Ball takes on Blazers.
Fonz Hale (FKAUD) put up a 34 point, 18 rebound masterpiece against No Diddy in Week 4. He remains amongst the Winter League MVP front runners.
Other notable stat lines from Week 4 include:
Noah Grabar (Double Nickels) 34p, 7r, 6a
Tyler Kittinger (FTK) 30p, 8r, 6 3's made
Brady Gleason (HIP) 29p, 5r, 6 3's made
Devon Darrell (Hoop Dreams) 25p, 8r, 5a, 3 stl
Jeriah Williams (LBJ) 30p, 9r
This Weeks GAME OF THE WEEK comes in the 430 slot featuring 3-1 HAM against 3-1 FKAUD. Team HAM comes into week 5 following their first loss of the season. Team Captain Alex Hiam alongside RoboCop Ryan Dougherty and Jack Bernstein look to get back into the win column. The trio combines for 40.6ppg out of their 61.5ppg on the season. On the other side of the floor is FKAUD captained by the Commish, Nick Kryszak, and lead by MVP front runner Fonz Hale. When asked about Team HAM, Hale had this to say..."We just gotta rebound, defend the paint, and run and we'll be fine. Eevrybody gonna shoot their shot." Hale comes into the game averaging 31p, 11r, 7a and will certainly be a handful for Team HAM. Tip off is at 530 and you can catch this game, along with all the other games, LIVE on our Twitch channel.
MUST WATCH GAME OF THE WEEK comes in the West Coast slot (830) and features two of the leages do-it-all players. Heavy Glaze (4-0) puts their perfect record on the line against a pesty Double Nickels (2-2) team. Clark Brueckl of Heavy Glaze and Noah Grabar of Nickels have been chomping at the bits over this matchup since the preseason and in Week 5, they'll both get what they want. To most it's just a 40 minute game of basketball. For Brueckl (22p, 9r, 4a) and Grabar (25p, 6r, 5a) it's personal.
