With the Bulli Longhorns,Dartists and Shooters not competing in this season's Competition a surplus of players have hit the open market.
The Strawhat Pirates were active in the Market securing the services of Harry Jordan.
We sat Down with Grand Final MVP Jake Hay to discuss the Signing of Jordan, Last Seasons Grand Final and the upcoming season.
IHS: Welcome Jake.
JH:Thanks for having me
IHS: Congrats on the not only on the Grand Final Win but the MVP.
JH:Thank You means A lot
IHS: As a local Bulli Kid what did mean to you personally to have the success you had as a team and individually.?
JH:Coming from Bulli I always felt like we play for Bulli, i'm from here i always wanted to lead the league or become MVP And it finally happened i was Overjoyed
IHS:Strawhat Pirates Recently acquired the services of former Dartists Player with a very good core group and with Keegan Rifkin to come back later in the year you have to be feeling pretty good about this group defending the shield?
JH: I Think If we Really Knuckle Down And Put The work in I think We have a chance going Back to Back Its all About belief in Your team mates at the end of the day and i think With Harry we add more size and another shooter excited to see where he goes with us
IHS: The Signing of Harry Jordan means he will team up with his Brother Billy and for the first time in league history the Pirates will have 2 sets of brothers in the one team that must be a pretty exciting time for the club?
JH: Yes its very exciting can't wait to play with them all.
IHS :What excites you about the competition this year?
JH: The comp Is so Intense one week but all fun the next i am excited you know its like a big family and its building its way up so fast i cant wait to see whats next for the league
IHS:Most players have the Pirates as the team to beat this being the case who are the most serious threats to your Championship defense.
JH:Well Every week we Play I see nearly everyone as a threat But you know you have the teams like Bombers and Rap Pack that has been so close and you know they want to claim that finals spot.
Defensive Player I would say Randell Would Have to be the lock down player atm
Fair play tyler I think Always been on the bad end of the stick but always plays Very hard
I think Most improved Atm is Im unsure rn I would say one of the kids from Buddies There are coming along
Players Player From my Team Billy Never hear a peep Heads down every game
For the league i would go with Maybe jake or Zac Both Great players love playing against them and there nevero your bad side
IHS: Prediction Time who are the Top 4?
JH: Strawhat Pirates, The Bombers, Buckets and Rap Pack Hard i see Shaq Attack playing well i Just don't see them being top 4 all season.

JH:MVP This is Hard If i Had to give the MVP I would give it to Cameron Holland From our team he just gets everything done plus he brings that team leadership you need

JH:Randell Forbes he is the lockdown player right now.
