Team Umrah vs Team Shockers ( Winner Shockers)
This game had 2 of the top teams facing each other. And we learned a lot. It looks like the shockers are clearly the team to beat. They pulled off a victory vs team umrah with the game ending in a close score of 50 to 46. But don’t let that fool you, Shockers out played their opponents all game long. Almost all of the scoring game for team umrah from Usef (scoring 14 pts) and their captain Mo Sufi (who scored 26 pts) showing some limitations on their teams when it comes to scoring. The rest of their players chipped in for a mediocre 6 pts total. Shockers had a bunch of players scoring in double digits and destroyed their opponents on the boards by a total rebound count of 42 to 26. Maher also had his best game of the season beating on defenders who tried to stop his post game with 10 points. Khaled chipped in with 12 points and shut down any hope of that potent Mo Malhi fast break. Fadi got his defensive players in trouble showing no defender less than elite defender in this league is going to slow him down. He chipped in with 13 points and showed his willing to do what he has to do to help the team to win. Radwan Elhaj also chipped in with 6 pts. This was a statement game for team shockers who showed the league that they are indeed the best team in the league.
Team No Mercy vs In your Face (Winner In your face)
If we had to describe this game in two words, it would be FUJO TIME!!! Fujo grilled No Mercy for 24 pts during the game leading his team to a victory with a score of 46 to 36. It was a horrible shooting night for most of team mercy. Frankly, they just looked out matched. The frustration in Sunny’s demeanor looked evident after a horrible shooting night for him scoring a season low 6 pts. Abee led his team with 13 pts on an efficient shooting night and led all games in assist as well. At this point, the holes on team No Mercy continue to show up with their lack of size in the paint and their 3 pt shot which once again was not their.
Team GI Joe’s vs Billy Buckets (Winner Team GI Joe’s)
This was a close game most of the game with both teams leading the game for long times at different times in the game. Eventually, Team Gi Joes won by a score of 40 to 30. Both teams continued their season long offensive struggle. Bilal Hubaish stepped up again to help lead his team to victory with 13 points. Joe had a bad shooting night scoring only 13 points but made up for it with consistent help defense to slow down Bilal F. Team Billy Buckets continue to shoot 3’s at a low percentage rate which is stifling them from getting any offensive rhythm going. This is the 2nd very low scoring game for them in a row as they fail to develop any offensive game plan to help. Frankly, both teams need to step up offensively if they want to be considered contenders. Because as of now, they both do not look like the better teams of this league.
