Game 1: Team Suffi Vs Team Kal

This game pitted what many consider to be the top 2 captains in the league. A rivalry that is encompassed with hard play and respect. Both teams fought hard, both teams played hard, but in the end, Suffi was able to close out the game and come out victorious through smart and efficient play. This game was blanketed with solid defense but both offenses looked pedestrian. We don’t know are both teams that good in defense or did both teams just have bad offensive days. The league will have to wait and see.

Game 2: Team Dave vs Team Nebil

If 4 letters were used to describe this game, they would be “Ali T.” His highly anticipated debut took place, and it did not disappoint. He came out and dropped 26 pts and 7 assists showing that he is potentially considered a top 5 player in the league and not the draft. He was able to constantly get to the rim and finish while managing to get his other teammates involved. Dave and Maher were missing in this game. Two of the games top big men. However, another big man stepped in and showed the league made another foolish mistake by allowing him to drop in the 5th round. After dominating the 30 yr old league in rebounds, premiere big man Jameel picked up where he left off grabbing 15 rebounds helping give his team a chance at many 2nd chance buckets.

Nebil also approached this game with a different mind set as he was very passive and looked to get his teammates involved early and often. Team Dave came out on top as the game had both teams leading at different times. Team Dave might of gotten the steal of the Draft with Ali T if hes able to replicate even 70% of that performance the rest of the season. Radwan also looks to continue building on good seasons as he topped all his performances form prior seasons coming out and dropping 10 points.

Game 3 Team Billy and Team Fujo

This game was put during the prime-time slot, and it did not disappoint. Both teams played amazing and feature what they had. Team Billy took control of the game early with Fujo taking over the game late to cut the lead and even take the lead late. At the end, team Billy were able to hold onto the victory with some clutch free throws from Muammar and Munair. This game had all the ingredients to be an amazing game. It pitted 2 of the more exciting captains in Billy and Fujo. Two of the top point guards in Farris and Munair. And 2 of the top shooting Guards in Fujo and Sunny. Jj was also able to display what he can do when given the opportunity grilling his opponents for a staggering 21 pts. All played well and to the final second. With one minute to go the game was still very close and these 2 teams look to be very competitive. Many players hit clutch shots including Fujo, Jj, Munair, Sunny, Muammar, and Billy. Farris continued to display his leadership on the court as he made many critical in game decisions to help bring his team back.

Game 4 Team Kamal and Team Mutee

This game had team Mutee take the lead early only to watch it slip late as Kamal decided to turn it on. Fadi did what fadi does which is score the ball with relative ease regardless or who gaurds him. Doc Mo Eljahmi also delivered with efficient scoring. Doc Bilal had some amazing highlight to score and distribute. Tmac looks to be taking the next step in this league as he played and looked good with glimpses of the old tmac coming to mind. However, team Mutee were without their full roster and no subs which seemed to play a major role in this game. If Team Kamal can keep showing this type of cohesiveness and emphasis to winning, they are a major threat.
