Jace Easley posted his 14th straight double-double, Conor McCaffrey and Drew Dejaynes combined for 26 points and Our Savior's rallied after squandering an early lead to beat Calvary Academy 76-64 on Friday night.
Easley scored 35 points and pulled in 22 rebounds after an early techical foul and bickering with Connor Brown. He made 13 of 24 shots.
After Caleb Larson's 3-pointer gave Calvary a 47-42 lead in the 3rd quarter, Our Savior's went on a 12-0 run and led the rest of the way.
The Eagles sprinted to a 21-7 lead with Easley scoring 2/3 of those points. His last basket of the first half put Our Savior's up 14 with 4:50 left before the break, but 16 seconds later he picked up his techical foul along with Connor Brown and both were forced to sit.
Calvary took advantage and erupted with a 23-7 burst and took its first lead 30-28 on a corner 3. The Saints led 34-30 at halftime.
Connor Brown finished with 26, Caleb Larson added 14 for Calvary.
Our Savior's (11-3, 4-0 LSA CIL Conference) beat Calvary at home for the first time since 2008. The Eagles last won its first four conference contests in the 2001 season.
Calvary (8-6, 0-3) has lost its opening three conference games for the first time since joining the conference. The last time the Saints lost their first three games in the conference was in the 2004 season, when they were in the IESA.
