The host Buckeyes take on the Clippers at 4:00 PM at Gateway to open up play in the Mac Pool. The two teams have met once in regular season play, with Kelvin riding a strong third period to victory on home ice. Miles Mac is looking for a different result at Gateway.
Over at Seven Oaks at the same time (4 PM), the teams in the Miles Pool will contest their first games. 2022 champion JH Bruns will faceoff against 2023 Consolation champ CSLR. This will be followed by a clash between the Sanford Sabres and the Powerview/Sagkeeng Wild. This is the first matchups between these teams this season.
