About The League

Here at the AYB, we focus on developing your child into a great basketball player along with sportsmanship. We teach respect, competition, and confidence, as well as fun. While we are a competitive league, we accept players of all skill levels and develop them by our AYB Certified coaches.

Our System

Our league consists of 16 team that compete anywhere from 4-8 times a week, eventually playing a total of 12 games (a full season). The top four teams then compete in a playoff game until the championship.

Rules

Our rules are that of the NBA, however, it is our job here at AYB to ensure your child a good basketball experience, which is why we have made it a rule that a child must start in at least 4 games out of the 12 game season. The league is for children ages 12-14. Teams may consist of anywhere from 7-14 players and may have 5 on the court at a time. If any player is over the age limit, the team will be penalized as needed (this can be anything from a mandatory forfeit to the team, to an automatic playoff elimination).

Playoffs

The playoff system is as follows;
-Top 4 Teams Make Playoffs
-After 2nd Round, Championship is held.
