“Growing up, I’ve always played with and against boys. It was so rare to see a girl like me hoop that I thought I was the only one who played. Ever.
The first time I played with all girls was in junior high. That’s when I finally discovered that girls who can hoop really existed. But you could never really find them. Basketball opportunities for youth girls and women were nonexistent.
What we needed as a community of girls and women is a place to hoop, to be highlighted and spotlighted and recognized. All In Basketball Women’s League (AIBWL) was formed with us in mind, with women in mind. It was created for us.
Women have been under the radar for far too long. We belong on the court just like everyone else. Put some respect on our game. We are ALL IN. Are you ALL IN?” 🌎🏀
