It offers boys and girls between the age of 12-16 have the opportunity to participate in a preseason clinic, draft, regular season, and playoffs. The Winning Team & Staff Receive a FINALS CHAMPIONSHIP Ring & Trophy. #### #### One of the things that makes the AFYBL unique is its position between a recreational and competitive league. It has a mixture of players that are skilled and raw in talent. All are being taught how to play basketball by caring coaches that see potential that other coaches may not take the time to develop. #### #### The AFYB league was established by Samuel Maldonado and Josh Acosta in March 2019. It started with four teams in San Luis, Arizona. The Bulls, Clippers, Lakers, and Warriors make up the Southern Conference. #### #### In the Season of 2022, The League Expanded to Four New Teams in Yuma, Arizona. The Celtics, Heat, Hornets, and Suns which make up the Northern Conference. Each team is individually operated by their Head Coach. Each Coach is given the opportunity to operate thier individual teams as Presidents & Owners of thier Franchises. #### #### The environment is special because the coaches collaborate with one another and the fans root for everyone. The rules are close to those of the high school level so players can get prepared to participate at that level. Rules are Structured as AIA High School Regulation Rules. Referee & Officials are AIA Confederation Officials. There are a couple of exceptions to make the game more entertaining to watch. #### #### Plans to expand are being discussed to accommodate more players in the near future.
