Teams are ranked by the following methods in order, with the next method used only for tiebreakers for teams still tied from preceding methods.

The standing points (wins + ties) as described below

Teams are ranked higher than another team if they've won against that team

The higher points for, then the lower points against

The higher number of wins, or lower number of losses

The higher difference between points for and points against

The lower points against, then the higher points for

Teams are ranked higher than another team if they have a higher win percentage.

For standing points, a team is awarded

3 points for each Win

3 points for each OT Win

0 points for each OT Loss

1 points for each Tie

0 points for each Loss
