UHL is a premier Pro-Am basketball league dedicated to building a fair, engaging, and competitive platform for players and team owners. Our mission is to provide an immersive and structured esports experience, fostering growth, respect, and camaraderie among all participants.

League Highlights:
• Mandatory Owner Participation: Owners are required to actively participate in at least 50% of regular season games and critical playoff matchups, emphasizing leadership and accountability.
• Competitive Fairness: Teams are limited to two consecutive championships, ensuring opportunities for new talent to shine. Champions are rewarded with a voucher for future participation while taking a one-season break.
• Strict Gameplay Rules: To maintain fairness, banned mechanics like rhythm shooting are prohibited, with penalties for violations.
Team & Player Guidelines:
• Registration: Teams must pay a $100 non-refundable fee for registration, covering five players, with individual player fees at $20.
• Rosters: Teams are capped at 12 players, and all roster changes are managed through the UHL website. Owners must ensure compliance with jersey, court design, and branding rules before the season starts.
• Streaming & Verification: All games must be live-streamed on Twitch with active microphones, and streams must be saved for at least seven days for league review.
Playoff Standards:
• Playoff participation is tied to strict owner involvement and game completion criteria, ensuring that the league’s most committed teams compete for the championship.
• Seeding is based on regular season performance, with game forfeiture and penalties for rule violations.
Admin Support & Community Engagement:
Led by James Nino Thurman and JW Wingfall Sr., the admin team ensures smooth operations, rule enforcement, and dispute resolution. Players and owners can engage directly with admins via Discord or email for assistance.
