1. Ant Thomas (Marquette)-Ant Thomas has been on a mission this season and hopes to get things turned around for Team Marquette as we hit the final stretch of league play. I’m sure Ant didn’t imagine Marquette being 3-4 fighting to stay out of play in contention. This skilled guard has been putting up electric numbers averaging 21.6 points per game and shooting over 40% from the field. What’s even more impressive is Ant Thomas is shooting 50% from beyond the arc. But he will have to hang his hat more on the defensive side once after recording a season high 4 steals last contest. Look for Ant Thomas to continue his phenomenal style of play via the inside and outside attack.

  2. Keontae White (Cincinnati)-Keontae White is playing like the best player in the college edition leading Cincinnati with a league best 6-1 record. This electric guard is leading Cincinnati to the promise land with his play making skills, ability to shoot from deep, and ability to take it the room off the dribble. Averaging 18.6 points per game, 3.3 assists per game, and 2.0 steals per game has proven to be Cincy most consistent player. No doubt Keontae is what I call a PTP BABY!!!!

  3. Leland March (Jackson State)-Leland has taken the college edition by storm and has done so quietly. Fun fact to disclose is that Leland has scored 20 or more points in each 60% of games played while shooting 50% from the field. Leland has helped lead Jackson State to a 4-game winning streak after starting 0-3 to begin the season. This PTP scores efficiently, has sneaky athleticism, and plays the passing lanes well. Leland will be facing off against the Wisconsin Badgers are giving up a league high 71.9 points per game. This could be a game that Leland has season high numbers in points and assists.

  4. Shelton Williams (Texas)-Shelton has helped Texas play their way out of play in contention for the moment after snagging one of their biggest victories of the season last week. This team success solely relies on the shoulders of Shelton Williams. A mountain of a man with decent mobility and a lot of upside. He’s got solid shooting touch from mid-range, is a solid low post scorer, and a solid rebounder. Shelton’s presence depends on his assertiveness on the court. When aggressive, Shelton has looked unguardable.
