10:00 a.m. Wisconsin Badgers vs Cincinnati Bobcats
Early morning special baby!!!!! We don’t know which Badger team we are getting, and for the past several weeks they’ve been playing with a minimum of 5 players. Sad to say it won’t get better facing off against a Cincinnati that’s vicious on both sides of the ball and have a mean tandem in Keontae, Dio, Downey, and Banyard. If Badgers aren’t fully strength this game can get ugly fast. If I’m Coach Meech, I’m making sure Dave Turner, Shavon Staples, Cris Costello, Shareef Smith, Darvell Brown and Dominic Ham be in attendance.
Bottom Line baby: Cincinnati Bobcats wins by 19
11:00 a.m. UCLA Bruins vs UW-Milwaukee Panthers
Trifecta, Trifecta, Trifecta baby!!!!! UCLA has too much in the arsenal baby. Duck and Matt on the wings baby. This can easily be a double-digit assist performance for the starting point guard Vontrell Seroyer. UW-Milwaukee showed grit last Saturday in almost pulling out what would be looked upon as the biggest win of the season but fell short. I didn’t expect UCLA to play with their food this morning. I’m expecting a double-digit victory baby for UCLA. Insider baby, this can be a coming out game for Silas Harris!!!!
Bottom Line: UCLA Bruins win by 12
12:00 p.m. Southwest Missouri vs Texas Longhorns-GAME OF THE WEEK
This is going to be a dog fight for sure!!! This game will be filled with PTP’s on both benches. Let’s start with the Texas Longhorns, it depends a lot on the coaching staff. Seems like the guys are responding much better to Adonis Joiner than T-Lu. I could be wrong but its just my observation baby. Hopefully they have that squared away because this is a team that can really make some noise with the right guidance. A very quiet game for Shelton Williams nd James Kelley last week. I expect them to be more assertive in the offense and being leaders on defense. If Carrington Love shows, it’s hard not to pick this team to win with value he brings. Southwest Missouri must get back to what makes them special, which is the forced turnovers that create instant offense baby. Brian Bearden has to play better, and Kobe has shown the games!!!! Daniel Hinkle, and Will Morgan are neutralizers so they will even out by playing the strength of team. The matchup I’m looking forward to is James Flippin vs Taurus Adams baby!!! Whichever big establishes themselves early and throughout wins baby!!!
Bottom Line: Southwest Missouri wins 6
1:00 p.m. UW-Marquette Golden Eagles vs Carroll College Pioneers GAME OF THE WEEK
In an absolute scare, Marquette held on to a close encounter last week. But they wont have the liberty of taking their foot off the gas today baby!!!!! They facing the top dog today and lets be clear, we will know a lot about this Marquette team after today’s game. Anthony Thomas has been shooting the ball quite well this season from beyond the arc, making him even more challenging to defend. Dre Johnson has been a great compliment piece. Omar has been the heart of this team with production and overall energy. I want to challenge Cedric CJ Jefferson to step up!!! He is a PTP baby, he needs to show that on the court and take possessions off. It looks like he’s disinterested and not all the way locked in. Marquette will need him to perform at high level if they want to win. Carroll College has many ways they can beat you. Playing without their star guard Mitchell Farr will be tough but they get another splash brother back in Haki Stampley who we know can go on a shooting spree at anytime of the game. Carroll College will need a solid game from Nate Hubbard and Terry Williams to beat Marquette baby!!!!
Bottom Line: Marquette wins by 2
2:00 p.m. Jackson State Tigers vs Oregon Ducks
This has the potential to be a classic. I expect for both teams to come out with high intensity especially for Jackson State who got their first season win last week. Sometimes less is best, and all it takes is the right 5. It’s hard to narrow down those playing for Jackson State who haven’t had a consistent group of players all season. Melvin Lee, Leland March, Javion Scaife, Jared Davis, Desmond Scott and Des Peterson have been the most consistent group of guys for Jackson State. Last week we observed Quon Hicks turn back the hands of the time and had it going early and throughout the game. If they do a two-man game between the big and one of the guards would free up a lot of space. Oregon Ducks will look like a rebound after a disappointing blowout loss last week. I like Oregon wings in McNair, and Walton that plays big can become a challenge for the bigs in the open court. QiAndre, and Mico will need to keep their feet on the gas on both ends with creating offense and defending Leland and Melvin. Both teams play with grit and I’m sure it won’t go down without a good fight baby!!!!
Bottom Line: Jackson State wins by 6
