In an all-out battle between the New York Bricks and the Los Angeles Fakers, the Bricks prevailed with a blazing win, shutting the Fakers down at a final score of 30 to 14. This puts the Bricks overall season record at 5-2-1, and improves their average +/- to -0.8. The story of this game centered around shooting. The Bricks made 14 field goal makes to the Fakers 6, 4 of which were 3-point makes (2 for the Bricks and 2 for the Fakers). Neither team made a free throw, but the Bricks had a significantly higher shooting accuracy, which secured an outburst of sustainable scoring. The Bricks also out-rebounded the Fakers 20 to 12. On top of that, the Bricks had more assists (8 to 4), steals (12 to 11), and blocks (5 to 1). The Fakers also committed more turnovers (17 to 12), but the Bricks committed more fouls (3 to 1). As the stats clearly show, this Brick blowout wasn't just secured in points, but also in rebounds, assists, steals, turnovers, and blocks.
The Bricks had a jaw-dropping super-star performance from elite guard, Carlton. He shot 57.14% overall, including 2-for-3 from 3-point range. This barrage of epic shooting gave him a game-high 18 points, but he also had 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and a block to go along with it. And it didn't even stop there. Carlton tallied 3 assists in 14 made passes, giving him a 21.43% assist rate. This major performance showcases why Carlton was chosen as Offensive Player of the Year, and what he is capable of. The Fakers also had some great help from Jake, who shot 4-for-8, with 3 rebounds and an assist. Cade shot 2-for-8, but pitched in a game high 6 rebounds, as well as 3 assists and a steal. Orlando had his second consecutive quiet game shooting-wise, shooting a mere 0-for-3, but he made 4 blocks, forced 3 turnovers, and made 3 steals, as well as grabbing a rebound and dishing out an assist.
The Fakers struggled from the field overall, and couldn't get a routine performance out of Darcy, the recently selected MVP, due to him struggling with a leg strain. He played 7 and a half minutes in this 14 minute game, unusual for a starter. He shot a quiet 1-for-3, with 1 steal and a rebound. Chet was decent for the Fakers, shooting 2-for-3, as well as making 2 steals, 1 assist, 1 rebound, 1 block, and drawing 2 fouls. Apart from the average shooting of Darcy and Chet, shooting didn't come easy. Max shot 1-for-7, Nolan shot 1-for-8, and Zach shot 1-for-4. However, the three combined for 9 rebounds, 7 steals, and 3 assists.

This Brick perofrmance showcased why the Bricks rely on the offensive abilities of Carlton and Jake, and the playmaking abilities of Cade and Orlando.
