The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived: We are officially announcing the winner of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award, the most prestigious and saught-after award presented by the ABL.

Experts have recently announced that the winner for the MVP Award has been granted to Darcy Gooden, a superstar forward for the Los Angeles Fakers. Nobody said it was going to be easy, but Darcy's done it; ABL History's first MVP. Darcy played for a total of 2 hours and 34 minutes this season, averaging 5.5 points per 10 minutes of play (a league high). He's done it with a 39.42% overall shooting accuracy (a league high), and 104 field goal attempts (only 5 of which were 3-point attempts). Darcy has made himself known as a careful shooter. With 62% of his shots being 'normal' (meaning without a special handle, position, or move), he understands that routine shots are the best shots. Darcy has showcased an 86% shooting accuracy on transition (or fast break) shots this season (the second highest in the league). As is to be expected for a player of Darcy's caliber, it isn't just shooting where he proves worthy of the MVP title. He's forced 10 turnovers as well as 15 steals this season. On top of this, Darcy is also our leagues best rebounder. He averages 4.7 rebounds per game (a league high), half of which are offensive. Furthermore, Darcy has also knoched 3 blocks, 1 successful shot screen, and drawn 3 fouls with 1 made free throw on 50% free throw shooting accuracy. In summary, Darcy has made it clear through his ambitious shooting, league-leading rebounding, and considerable blocking and foul drawing skills that he is much deservant of the most glorious of all awards MVP.
