Pleasant Plains traveled to Our Savior's Thursday night and ran face first into the brick wall which is Conor McCaffrey and Jace Easley. The Cardinals were 14-0 entering Thursday's matchup with the 10-2 Eagles of Our Savior's who handed Plains their first loss of the season. The Eagles 64-63 win in Double OT is the biggest win in program history.
We caught up with Conor McCaffrey, Jace Easley and coach Phillip Heppe after the game.
"The atmosphere was fantiastic, I don't think you'll ever see this place sold out ever again, it was really something special." -McCaffrey.
"These are the types of team Conor and I want to play, we look forward to these games, helping the rest of the guys get adjusted to this pressure just helps out more." - Easley
"We started off a little rough, we have Conor and Jace on our team, can't bet against those two, they make my job 100% times easier, it's like having player coaches on the floor, and everyone else listens to them, its fantastic!" -Coach Heppe
