Conor McCaffrey, Our Savior's
The 8th Grade Pitcher and Utility guy played over 15 innings at every postion besides catcher. McCaffrey was excellent on the mound going 5-1 over 46 innings, finishing with an ERA of 1.24 and racking up 101 strikeouts while tossing only 7 walks. This includes a no-hitter vs Mount Pulaski, with masterclass 100+ pitch outings vs New Berlin and Pleasant Plains

However, he was in serious pain in the Sectional Semifinals loss and pulled himself in the 5th inning, deemed shoulder fatigue. McCaffrey's shoulder went through a lot of stress with the workload and he is expected to miss his freshmen season due to rehab, but he should be back on the mound in Fall 2021, unless a major setback were to take place.

McCaffrey's bat also was remarkable. An average of 310 in 2018, exploded to a 408 average with 4 home runs and 24 RBI's while also drawing 22 walks and striking out 5 times on the whole season. This also included 13 stolen bases. McCaffrey became a feared 2-hole hitter. Hitting behind Dawson Strauch, and in front of Sasha Vanderkecha and Jace Easley.

Jace Easley, Our Savior's
Easley is a vaccum at 2nd base, while also spending some time at shortstop. On the mound Easley finished the season 4-2 over 34 innings, finishing with an ERA of 2.29 and racking up 67 strikeouts while tossing 24 walks. This includes having a .999 fielding percentage, only commiting one error on the whole season.

Easley with the bat is not your traditional 4-hole hitter, but with the power the McCaffrey and Vandekecha displayed in the 2 and 3 spots, Easley seemed to fit in perfectly in the cleanup spot. Batting 393 with 2 home runs and 29 RBI's. Easley showed that he had a true ability of being able to get on base, his OBP was higher that Vanderkecha's who is going to Edwardsville to play full-time in high school. Easley is expected to head to Springfield High School, saying that Lutheran High School is off the table, with Glenwood also being a potential landing spot.
