The game of the week is the 7 o'clock game between the undefeated Lakers versus the Nets. This game will be a great contest as the Nets hope to give the Lakers their first loss of the season. The way the Lakers have been playing all season, it would be a surprise if they don't go undefeated entering the playoffs. They won the game of the week last week against the Suns in their closest game of the season, Wadner Vital scored a third of his teams points and finished with player of the week honors. DJ Haynes has been the Lakers most consistent player and who the Nets will matchup against him will be interesting. The Nets best player and an MVP candidate Chase Breck is up to have a big game. He leads the league in points a game at 26 and he'll have another big game after dropping 33 last week and 40 the week before. The Nets won their game against the Magic with only 4 players and played the week before with 5. If they're hoping to beat the Lakers they must bring a full team.
Who to watch
Chase Breck will be one to watch in this contest. Leading the league in points a game should be hype enough for him to drop another 30 point game. Harley Hanson has been the Nets most interesting player. Two weeks ago he had a poster of the year against the Suns, the high flyer could posterize someone tonight and it'll be fun to watch how he does against the Lakers. DJ Haynes and Wadner Vital for the Lakers will most likely be the top scorers for the Lakers but I think if the Nets get a full squad tonight we can see some contribution from Jaydhen Moncrease and Taylor Breck. The Lakers captain Marcus Ford will be hitting threes from deep and Von Ingram can have a big game today. There are a lot of great players in this game and it will be a fun one to watch.
