Last night in Farifax, Virginia, the Philadelphia Passion lost their 4th straight game in a row, falling to the Washington Warriorettes 45-41.
This puts the team at a record of 4-4, even after an auspicious start to the season that saw them go undefeated within their first 4 games.
Philly has had a string of injuries this season that have definetly kept them down, the major one being the injury to QB Kia Davidson in late October, against Tennessee that saw her take a very scary hit, and ended up dislocating her knee. As of right now doctors have not given Davidson the go ahead to play and the team has placed her on Injury Reserve.
Since then the Passion have tried out several other QB's including Fayth Ray, who started for the Passion last night but left the game with a hamstring injury, in the 3rd quarter. The Passion then put out Jessica Peltier, a 23 year old rookie from Luxembourg to play for the rest of the game. She finished 5/8 for 71 yards 1 td and 1 int.
