First Pick Headlines Draft Night
The biggest moment of the day came early, as scoring guard Ke’Mori Daway was selected as the number one overall pick by the senior team the Nuggets.
Daway, a 5’10” guard who can play both point guard and shooting guard positions, is known for his fast-paced, high-intensity style of play and scoring ability. He previously spent three years in the junior division with the Nets club and is also a member of the SVA All-Star travel program under Sports Vision Academy.
His selection as the first overall pick immediately positions him as one of the key players to watch heading into the new season.
The senior division will also feature the Wolves, Suns, Bucks, Nicks, and Thunders.
In the junior division, teams include the Celtics, Blazers, Nets, and Grizzlies.
With the draft now complete, all attention shifts to the May 9 season opener. Expectations are high as teams finalize preparations and fans anticipate a highly competitive season across both divisions.
The selection of Daway at number one has already set the tone for what promises to be an exciting SVA campaign.
