OBS Game Scores Overlay Instructions

If you're using OBS to livestream your games to Twitch, Facebook, YouTube, or Twitter/X, you can connect our live scores and stats tracking apps to your stream.

When you use the instructions below, your stream will have the game's current score overlaid on top of the camera stream. Here's how to overlay the current score of this game on your OBS stream.

Get Your Game's Overlay URL

Copy this game's unique overlay URL from the right.

Add to OBS

  1. Open OBS Studio
  2. In the Sources panel, click the + icon
  3. Select "Browser" from the list
  4. Choose "Create New" and name the overlay "Scores", then click "OK"
  5. Paste the game's unique overlay URL in the "URL" field
  6. Set your preferred width and height (recommended: 300 × 300)
  7. Click "OK" to save

Position Your Score Overlay

Click and drag the scorebug in the preview window to position it. Resize it using the red handles if needed. Keep in mind this may distort the text.

Record Scores for your Game with the RecLeague.net Apps

  • As you enter stats and the scores change, your overlay will refresh automatically
  • Test your stream before going live to ensure everything displays correctly
  • For best results, use a stable internet connection for minimal delay
  • If the stream's scores stop updating, first save your progress in the score tracking apps. Then click the score overlay in OBS and then click the "Refresh" button. The scores will start updating again as you track stats.
