Festive season is a time to celebrate and rejoice with the loved once but for Shabana Fc players it's time for sorrow and grief as they have nothing to put on the table for the loved ones .

The Kisii based club has kept it's players for three months without a pay despite a decent run of performance that has been witnessed . From anonymous source , Shabana Fc players have stayed in the camp up to five months now after putting pen to paper with the club .All this period the players have been fed on hopes and empty promises that are yet to be fulfilled .

" Players have stayed in the camp for UpTo five months now ,nothing has been received for that period of time even after signing contracts three months ago ,nothing has been brought forward ,players are now used to empty promises yet families are waiting for them ."

With the National Super League taking a break to allow time for the festive season ,players were expecting at least half of the salaries as they leave to unity with families in during the celebration but to players shock ,none of the management staff of the club has been seen since the last match aganist Vihiga United . " Player's have been waiting since Sunday to at least get communication from the management but none has been made ,our calls to the officials are going unanswered ,we have been given till evening to vacate our houses or pay money, where will the players go ? "

Shabana FC has had quite a good start to the season winning three matches aganist SS Assad, Silibwet Leons FC and Mombasa Elites & drawing one encounter with Vihiga United a performance that places Shabana Fc joint top of the NATIONAL SUPER LEAGUE level on points with Kibera black stars
