Heading into match day four, Athletico New Oil Academy had collected only one point from three games this season and a tie aganist fellow strugglers Burundi Sport Dynamik club was supposed to be the turning point since, Dynamik had collected zero points all season and were regarded as underdogs heading into the match .

New Oil started the match with high tempo looking to find an opening goal but a strong defensive display from Bs Dynamik kept them a bay .The first half ended with a barren draw.

It was Burundi Sport who scored first in the 57th minute with the goalkeeper well beaten from close range to make the scores one nil .

Efforts by New oil to get an equalizer bore no fruits as Dynamik defended quite well till the last minute handing them the match needed points and first win this season .

The win meant athletico New Oil drop to the last position with only a point collected and it never sat well with the management as Coach Mailo Nzeyimana was sacked immediately after the game .Making him the first coach to be sacked this season in Burundi Primus League .

Elsewhere, Murder Akbar double and a goal from Fataki Intelligent was enough to take Le Messenger Ngozi back to the top of the league as they defeated league new comers Top Junior FC .

Ngozi are now top of the table with equal points to Aigle Noir but a superior goal advantage separates the two.

In other fields , Bumamuru FC won one nil to Rukinzo United as Magara Yb suffered yet another defeat at the hands of Kayanza United(3-0), Flambeau du Centre continued with a perfect start to the season getting a 2-1 against Tigre Noir.

The match between Vital'o and Inter Stars was postponed as Stade Intwari played host to East Africa Cultural events .
